COVID 19 Precautions We're Taking to Ensure The Safety of Our Patients and Team
August 12, 2020
To Our Dental Family,
With children returning to school (both in person and online) we want you to know that our office continues to remain open to serve you and your family with your dental care needs!
We understand that you may have concerns regarding COVID-19 and how it could potentially affect you in a healthcare setting. We want to ensure that we are taking every precaution to provide a safe environment for your dental treatment. Because your health is our priority, we want to make you aware of the precautions we have implemented as extra measures during this critical time.
We are following and exceeding the highest standards set forth by the ADA, (American Dental Association) CDA (Colorado Dental Association), and CDC (Centers for Disease Control) for your safety.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our office has adjusted to the new protocols for treatment and social distancing. The health and safety of our patients and staff continues to be our highest priority.
- We are asking all scheduled patients who are experiencing symptoms of any respiratory virus to call us to reschedule. Specifically, this means anyone who has or recently had a fever and is coughing, sneezing, or having difficulty breathing, as well as anyone who has been exposed to someone with the COVID-19 virus. We are seeing only well patients in our office at this time. We will also ask that only the person being seen come into the office. Please leave children, spouses, etc. at home if possible or have them wait outside the office building.
- Hand-sanitizing products are located throughout the office, including the reception area, treatment rooms, and supplies for proper hand washing are always available. Our staff will be wearing face masks at all times and face shields when appropriate. The entire office, as well as common spaces in the building, have been sanitized with safe and effective products.
- For your safety, we will be asking patients to maintain social distancing at check-in, in the waiting room, and at check out. If you are concerned about exposure to any illness, including COVID-19, upon arrival you may contact us by phone and can opt to wait in your personal vehicle or outside the office and we will contact you by mobile phone when your treatment room is ready. During this time our office will be taking your temperature upon arrival. If you have a temperature above 99 degrees, your appointment will be rescheduled. You will be required to sign a check-in document that you are symptom-free.
Thank you for your patience and for trusting us with your dental care needs. Please call our office with any questions or concerns you may have. We appreciate the trust you place in us as your oral health care provider.
